In The Social Sharing Age
We all want to understand marketing, but what do you need to know about marketing? Maybe you want to better understand effective marketing? Effective marketing is a three post topic, at a minimum. First you must have a grasp of what marketing is and how you may be spending your time as a marketer in your personal life as a spokesperson for a friend, another company or a family member. Maybe you are marketing for your single buddy who needs someone to speak highly of him or her. You may have been involved in Marketing when you left you favorite gym this morning and then took off for a cup of coffee at your favorite cafe. All the while tweeting about your day.
The Marketing Conversation(s)
“You need to take the new yoga teacher at _____ yogi!” Is a great message. A great marketing message delivered by someone who is happy with the new class and the new service and the ease of sign up. So how do you get the same energy for you business or product and have the energy stand out online and in the social media platforms which really stir the internet pot about your company. First, you need to get in the mix with all of your customers and reach out to them and find out what they think. Find out what they believe about your company and then you can create your own marketing message based on ground intel. I have always wanted to use the term “ground intel” in a Marketing Blog Post.
Word Of Mouth Marketing
Yes everyone is speaking about your company and yes everyone hopes you hear them.
