We’ve seen several of these ideas before, but I haven’t seen the idea of turning your site into a game before. That could be a lot of fun.
What it comes down to is making your site a worthwhile repeat destination. Too often there is a focus on price alone, but that is a race that can only have one winner. With compelling content and unique selection, you can build an audience that returns to your store again and again for education and purchases.
Will some of your customers watch your video or play your game and then shop elsewhere? A few perhaps, you have also trained those people that your site matters. They will remember your name, and when they are interested again, they will be return. Catch their attention often enough, and you have built something really valuable – trust.
Focus on delivering something unique and you will build the customers you need. Good selling!
